Touchstone today revealed that the Propaganda Games developed sci-fi dinosaur title Turok has shipped over 1 million units worldwide, since its release in February this year.
The publisher also announced that it will be releasing five new multiplayer maps for the game, via Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation network. The DLC is called Velociraptor Pack and will cost 400 MS points on XBL, or $4.99 on PSN.

Bad news for Heavenly Sword fans - developer Ninja Theory has stated in an interview with GamesIndustry that they are definitely not doing a sequel.
Instead, their next project will be a fresh title for the PS3 and Xbox 360, possibly accompanied by a CGI film.

Activision today announced a new version of their award-winning title Call of Duty 4.
The new game, dubbed Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition will be released in April and features the full CoD4 game, as well as a Xbox LIVE token - which will allow players to download the upcoming map pack.
It also comes in a new packaging.

Publisher Lexicon Entertainment today announced that its upcoming multi-platform title Aurora: The Secret Within has gone gold, and will be released on April 25th 2008.

Rockstar has updated their ‘updates’ section of the official Grand Theft Auto IV website, and it looks like we have something to look forward to.
On March 20th, more details on the game’s soundtrack will arrive, along with some new screenshots, downloads, and the best part - a never before seen GTA IV trailer.

The NPD sales numbers for February are in, and (apparently) they were pretty much in line with the market’s expecations for the month. Total hardware units were at 1.799 million units, which is 12.29% more than what was expected.
Sony’s PlayStation 3 outsold the Xbox 360, but both were dominated by the Nintendo Wii and DS.

After bashing the PC for a bit, Epic’s Tim Sweeney shed some new light on the upcoming Unreal Engine 4 (in an interview with TG Daily), and how it is exclusively aimed at consoles instead of PCs.
“Version 4 will exclusively target the next console generation, Microsoft’s successor for the Xbox 360, Sony’s successor for the PlayStation 3 - and if Nintendo ships a machine with similar hardware specs, then that also. PCs will follow after that”

The latest Media Create figures for the week ended March 9th are in, and can reveal that a PlayStation 3 title has at last topped the software charts in Japan. Yakuza 3: Kenzan! debuted at #1 with over 181,000 copies sold.
Unsurprisingly, the rest of the top ten is dominated by Nintendo, who can proudly attest to having five self-published Wii and DS titles up there.
