Norwegian developer Funcom has launched a new website featuring a feat calculator for its MMORPG Age of Conan. It is a valuable tool players can use “to explore the various options available for thei character’s builds, without having to worry about in-game costs to retrain their feats.”
The site states that you will be able to use it for viewing all the feats of every single class available, and even interact with them in the exact same way you would in-game, but with a few extrea features.
Not satisfied? Well then you can also easily link your feat builds to friends, so that they can check out what you have in mind, similar to World of Warcraft.
Lord of the Rings Online developer Turbine receives a fresh and greatly appreciated cash injection, as the MMO creator has been given another $USD 40 million through fund-raising.
This means the company has managed to raise an impressive $USD 88 million in venture captial, which will apparently be used on new projects, as well as further development on LOTRO.
Blizzard has released the Patch Notes for the new version 2.4.2 patch, which is currently being tested for World of Warcraft.

The Norwegian developer Funcom today announced the official pricing for both the North American and European versions of Age of Conan.
Firstly, the actual hard copy of the game will cost you $59,99 (€49,99), I’m assuming you want this. Secondly, you will obviously have to pay a monthly fee in order to access the game online, which happens to be the nice sum of $14,99 (€12,99).
This pricing range isn’t very different from other popular MMORPGs, so don’t complain!
Funcom and Eidos have announced that Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventure has gone gold, meaning you should expect to see the anticipated MMORPG at retailers soon(ish).
“I believe we have created a game that will stand the test of time by its own accord, but we are already busy planning future features and expansions.” says Game Director/Producer Gaute Godager.
In a recent paidContent interview, THQ boss Brian Farrell revealed at Gamer’s Day in San Fransisco that the Warhammer 40K MMOG is “probably still a couple of years away.”
The game was announced last March, and should not be confused with the upcoming swords & sorcery MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
EA Mythic’s Mark Jacobs has stated that he believes the upcoming beta for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will surpass one million users, once the title is ready for Asian markets.
The closed beta has already been around for a year now, and Jacobs is pleased to say that the numbers are already over 500,000.
“Even without Asia, based on our current sign-up rate, we should blow through 750,000 and we have a decent shot at one million.”
Electronic Arts today revealed that Warhammer Online: Age of ReckoningCollector’s Edition will be realeased in Europe, limited to 55,000 copies.
Warhammer Online Collector’s Edition will feature plenty of extra stuff, such as a special Warhammer miniature figure, an art book, a mouse mat, and a graphic novel. In addition to this, it will also include bonus in-game content.
NCsoft has announced that it has licensed the Unreal Engine 3, for development on two currently unknown MMORPG titles.
“Unreal Engine 3 has a well structured rendering pipeline, and its graphical quality is superb thanks to advanced lighting and shadowing systems,” said Young-muk Choi.
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures won’t be available in stores until May this year, but somehow it has managed to already top the sales charts for March, according to X Play.
This could merely be a mistake, but it is also possible that the Norwegian Funcom developed MMORPG has secured a significant amount of pre-orders.
John Smedle, president of Sony Online Entertainment recently stated that a PlayStation 3 MMO could potentially rival the success of MMORPG giant World of Warcraft.
“I absolutely do think we’ll see that, and in fact I think by having a stable platform where every customer has an online capable box is a huge, huge potential advantage in building an MMO because you’ve alrady got an online user base.”
Turbine and Codemasters Online today unveiled Volume II of The Lord of the Rings Online, the very first retail expansion pack for the award-winning MMORPG.
LOTRO: Mines of Moria will expand the online world of Middle-Earth, and allows players explore the ancient underground cities of the dwarves.

VestGame Entertainment today announced a series of new PvP events for World of Kung Fu, a 3D online world based on traditional Chiense martial arts and mythology.
It is completely free to play and does not require you to purchase anything at retail.
The game is already incredibly popular in China, with over 6 million players across 20 cities. A North American beta test is currently in the works.
