The Playstation Blog has been updated today with video reels about Metal Gear Solid 4. Now these were previously released but it does reveal something very interesting.
As many now know, this is in fact a trailer for MGS4, and reveals some of the incredible first few gameplay moments of the MGS4 itself.
The blog post leaves off noting that the Beta is soon approaching and that additional content will be coming shortly to give you that extra boost you need after playing GTA IV for a week or two straight.
It seems a lot of people are really excited about the new Metal Gear games. So much so, all the incoming traffic has caused the beta for Metal Gear Online to be delayed to an unspecified date.
“On the eve of its debut, the Metal Gear Online US public beta has gone AWOL. More accurately, Konami has announced that the beta has been delayed due to “extraordinary levels of traffic from all around the globe” causing service problems.”
Konami has stated that more information regarding this event will be available tomorrow.
Konami has revealed to Eurogamer that it will very soon be announcing its Metal Gear Online beta plans for European territories.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Japan, you can already sign up for the beta over there. The complete game is scheduled for release worldwide alongside Metal Gear Solid 4 on June 12th.
Good news Europeans, Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will indeed be released in Europe on June 12th - as well as Metal Gear Online: Starter Pack, which is at the same time the US gets it.
This announcement originally came in German, and details the exact date and the fact that we’ll also be getting MGO. Konami UK has also confirmed this.
