Pete Hines from Bethesda Softworks says there will be no downloadable demo for the hugely anticipated Fallout 3. He explains:
“When you build it as one thing, there’s no way to portion off a section and have it stand on its own without putting the whole game in the demo, which we’re just not going to do … And it doesn’t really capture the fun of a game like an Elder Scrolls or a Fallout, where you can go where you want and do what you want. So no demo, sorry.”

Disappointing, even though his reasons are more than valid enough.

It has been quiet on the Fallout 3 horizon lately, with no new information or media from the game being released.
Now however, two brand new high-res screenshots have surfaced the Web, showing off action sequences with a creepy wolf and a fiery zombie.

Bethesda today officially announced that it will release a special Fallout 3 Collector’s Edition worldwide for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
This limited edition will be available through pre-orders and certain retailers, and will include a customized Vault-Tec lunch-box, an art book, ‘the making of’ DVD, and a collectible Vault-Tec Vault Boy Bobblehead.

Speaking to videogaming247, Peter Hines (Bethesda Marketing Boss) stated that the lead development format for Fallout 3 is in fact the Xbox 360.
“The 360 is our lead development platform, so we got it workingg on that one first. I mean, we develop them all simultaneously, but one of them’s got to be the lead, so it was 360.”

Today ZeniMax Media confirmed that it is opening a new European officer based in London.
Since the compay owns Bethesda Softworks, this also means that all future releases from the game developer will now be self-published.
