A handful of new screenshots from the highly anticipated Fable 2 for the Xbox 360 have surfaced online, showing off its superb visuals and beautiful scenery.
In addition to these, some new game details have also been released. The mini-map has been replaced by a “bread crumb trail” GPS-like system that glows golden on the ground, showing you where to go. Eight different magical spells each with five levels of power will also be included.
What’s more impressive, every single residence you come across in the game can actually be purchased and occupied by you and your family. These will all unlock new guests and items that you can take advantage of.

Peter Molyneux revealed in a Major Nelson podcast that getting Gamer Points in Fable 2 isn’t going to be nearly as easy as some players would like.
They’re going to have some rough rides with those Achievements,†he stated.

After posting earlier regarding the release date of Fable 2, I quickly sent off an email to Lionhead’s PR rep asking if theres any possible confirmation, or even a hint, unfortunately they had this to say,
“Hello,
Thanks for your mail and interest in Lionhead Studios. We don’t comment on rumours like these I’m afraid, but what I can tell you is if a release date doesn’t come from us (Lionhead) it probably isn’t true and only a guestimate.
Best Regard, Sam”

Peter Molyneux and his Lionhead Studios are releasing an Xbox LIVE Arcade game named Keystone, designed to further add to the already massive Fable 2 hype-train.
Keystone is one of the many mini-games found in Fable 2, and will let you gamble and win gold which you can actually transfer onto your Fable 2 saved games. Basically it allows you to earn Fable 2 money before it’s released.
No release date has been announced so far, but we’ll keep an eye for more info.
