Lost Planet Demo This Week

Just a friendly reminder for you PS3 owners, Capcom has confirmed that a European version of the Lost Planet: Extreme Condition demo will be made available for download on the PlayStation Store this Thursday.

It’s the same demo that was released in the US and Japan a couple of weeks ago, minus the bugs and the other technical issues, we hope.

Magic The Gathering Coming To XBLA

Wii Shop Channel Gets Phantasy Star, Ninja Gaiden

Attention Wii owners, Nintendo has added two new games to the Wii Shop Channel.

This week’s collection of games includes good old classics such as Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom (500 points), and Phantasy Star II (800 points).

iTunes Offer Rock Band Songs

Not exactly news, but it could be slightly interesting for Rock Band fans, you can now purchase all the songs in the game from iTunes.

If this picques your interest, the entire catalogue of songs can be yours for a mere $73.26.

Activision Trademarks DJ Hero

According to Trademork, Activision applied for a trademark for the title called DJ Hero earlier this month.

Unfortunately there isn’t much information on this at the moment, but the trademark refers to DJ Hero as “computer game software and related instruction manual sold together as a unit; interactive video game programs; computer game discs; downloadable software for use in connection with computer games; video game controllers; interactive video game compromised of a CD or DVD sold as a unit with a video game controller.”

We’ll be keeping an eye on this potential title.

In case you missed this, Xbox 360 owners, three more titles from the original black Xbox have been released on the Xbox Live Arcade.

You can now purchase and download Black, Pirates! and Ninja Gaiden Black for a mere 1200 points ($15 USD).

Good news for you GHIII fans, later this evening Sony will be updating the PlayStation Store with a new Guitar Hero III song from Aerosmith, called “Dream On”.

Members of the website CharlieOscarDelta.com received an interesting email from Activision today, regarding new upcoming downloadable content for the successful title Call of Duty 4: Moden Warfare.
