Xbox 360 Reaches 2 Million Mark In UK

According to Chart-Track, the Xbox 360 has now sold close to 2 million in the UK.

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, Chart-Track director Dorian Bloch stated: “We are very close to clocking through 2 million Xbox 360s in the UK. It should be next week.”

The console launched in the UK back in December 2005, and hit the 1 million mark after 60 weeks.

GT5: Prologue Tops UK Charts

This week’s UK software charts are in, and unsurprisingly the recently launched Gran Turismo 5: Prologue debuts at #1, followed by Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2.

GT5: Prologue has already become the fastest selling PS3 title in one week, and the 19th best-selling overall game for the console.

UK Software Sales Charts

The latest UK software charts have arrived, and they’re not too different from the French and Dutch ones.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbox Six: Vegas 2 has claimed the top spot, with Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games at #2. CoD4 still refuses to go away, and as usual there’s a handful of brain training titles to be found.
